Happy Thanksgiving, From Wild Child Gym

Every Thanksgiving starts the same.

We stand around a circle, and each person gets a moment to say why they’re thankful. When you come from a blended family of 9 children and an ever-growing next generation, this sometimes can take a while. Each person went around the room, delivering heartfelt moments of thankfulness, until we came around to the youngest of our ‘Ohana (family).

Just six years old, with all eyes on her, my niece, Kealani, looked around the room at all the smiling faces staring back at her and simply said, “I’m thankful for this moment.”

In an instant, she had the entire room stilled. It was a gentle reminder that the simplest things are our greatest treasures.

Today, as we celebrate thankfulness and family, we need to Thank YOU!

Thank you for supporting our dreams. Thank you for the incredibly loving and warm embrace of Wild Child from the community; all that we are and all that we hope to become. Thank you for welcoming our business and family into yours.  Most of all, thank you for letting us be a part of your child’s day and helping to shine a light on the joy of it all.
